No big surprises this year from Blizzard at Gamescom.  The company however, did share some new info on Shadows of Argus, World of Warcraft patch 7.3 which is set to be released on August 29th 2017, as well as some other various items..

Blizzard dove in to some of the new story elements of Argus and the lore of the home planet for the Legion.
There will be an invasion on Argus when the patch goes live, which players will team up with the Army of  Light and fight the Legion in the Antoran Wastes.  New World Quests and Emissaries will be unlocked.

Blizzard then revealed an animated short: “Rise and Shine” – Starring Mei from the cast of Overwatch..  You can watch that short below here.  Overwatch fans will also see a brand new Overwatch animated short following the Junkertown Map Reveal and story trailer.

“Junkertown is an Escort map located in the harsh and unforgiving Australian Outback,” the official description explains

A new hero is being introduced in Heroes of the Storm — players will be able to play as Kel’Thuzad.

And last but not least, Hearthstone.  Blizzard’s first Hearthstone raid puts everybody against the Lich King Arthas.   This is an all-against-one attack against Arthas, who in this particular mode brings a whopping one million hit points to the table. The object is to do as much damage as possible before he defeats you. The better you do, the higher your rank.  Really “exciting” stuff? Not really sure yet.  I am leaving the video of the Hearthstone animated short out of this, it’s just weird. I know what they were going for.. I’m just not sure it hits the mark.
